Interestingly, there are methods of expansion that are suitable for every business. The manufacturing sector, internal expansion-adding more market segments to target, developing competencies in the business, adding new products and technologies-is highly recommended. While those in the product and service retail sector: franchising, distributorship or dealership, and acquisition of new business-are recommended methods.
